Las Cruces captures the quiet heart of a small town while offering the convenience of a city. Now I know The Real Estate Firm is biased to this wonderful city (read our blog post Thinking about retiring in Las Cruces Blog ). But don’t take our word for it see what other websites and publications are saying.

LAS CRUCES – Las Cruces has landed on another national list as a best place to retire, according to a city news release.
The website www.topretirements.com ranks Las Cruces no. 15 on its list of 100 communities nationwide.
According to the website, “Las Cruces has been listed as a ‘Best Place to Retire’ by several organizations for many reasons: low cost of living, active cultural life with its major university, and unusually beautiful location.”
“Las Cruces continues to be recognized nationally as a great place to live, work, play and now retire!” City Manager Stuart C. Ed said in a statement.
“The Mayor and City Council’s leadership and strategic vision, combined with City administration’s goal of constantly improving municipal operations, has resulted in Las Cruces becoming a quality of place. We’re very proud of this latest designation and will keep pushing forward,” Ed also said in the statement.
