2019 NMREC Core Course C
The Core Course is designed to instruct and inspire every licensed broker in the state how to be “in demand”, necessary, required participants in every New Mexico real estate transaction. The key component to professionalism is a high level of education – in fact, judges have defined professionalism in those terms: the professional practitioner is far more educated than their client. The CoreCourse offers the opportunity to offer brokers the latest skill set of our profession.
Educating licensed brokers to a higher level of professionalism remains a principle mission of the New Mexico Real Estate Commission – right after “protecting the public”. Of course, those two items are closely related; the CoreCourse is designed to help reinforce that mission in every licensed broker.
The 2019 Core Course will focus on rule changes that will go into effect in January 2019 – including property management requirements, legal updates, case studies, and identifying behavior that is inconsistent with broker professionalism, which will include training on “Navigating the Real Estate Minefield”.
